The Gulf Breeze Area offers a wide array of churches close to your new home. The Gulf Breeze area supports more than 20 churches! (Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Assembly of God and many others also call Gulf Breeze their home.) Additionally many of our local churches offer senior programming in the form of meetings, craft clubs, supper clubs, weekly lunch groups, day trips, and tours, as well as choirs and classes. There is much here to be involved in and many caring friends just waiting to meet you!
Recreation
Recreation around Gulf Breeze, however, is not just parks! Don't forget about diving, hiking, camping, golf, tennis and many more activities that Gulf Breeze offers. There are 40 golf courses within 100 miles, many tennis courts-both public and private, jogging, nature trails, camping and RV areas, a Zoo, museums, and Civil War era forts to visit.

Located between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze has easy access to Pensacola Naval Air Station; Eglin Air Force Base; Hurlburt, Whiting, Saufley, and Corry Fields and other Military

Parks
Our island beaches are part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, which preserves beaches from development and keeps them open to the public, preserving this pristine beauty for generations to come. Gulf Breeze has the distinction of having more of its land (53%) devoted to parks than any other city its size. Over 1500 acres of public parklands are within the city limits.
