Aging in Place The Villas at Gulf Breeze is committed to the philosophy of "Aging in Place" which advocates allowing the resident to choose to remain in his/her living environment despite the physical and or mental decline that may occur with the aging process. To that end and goal The Villas at Gulf Breeze has a full-range of support services that are accessible to the resident as needs occur. Examples of the service available include; adult day care and respite care. Levels of care and accompanying charges are based on resident needs.An "Aging in Place" feature is that we can continue to care for you or your loved one as their health or independence may decline. If residents living in assisted living develop Alzheimer's Disease or age related dementia they have the opportunity to move into our specialty care unit rather than seeking a new home. In some cases couples who need assisted living may have one partner living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia requiring the services of the specialty program. At The Villas at Gulf Breeze, we are committed to being able to accommodate a wide-range of needs for these unique circumstances which allow aging in place to be a realty.
